Braid stitch. I am knitting a new hat, love the braid stitch as a rim of the hat.

Spring Chapter I

Warning: there will be a long string of Spring posts. After many months of winter hibernation we are truly enjoying the outdoors. Snow has melted away, well, most of it, and now we are seeing brown pastures very slowly changing to soft green.

Spring time arrived. Our new little addition to the herd is striving and enjoy a free run. It seems like she enjoys the deck. We named her Beannie, I hope to knit a whole bunch of hat from her beautiful chocolate fleece.

The 365 day knitting clock.

The 365 day 'knitting clock' uses nearly 1,500ft of yarn to show the passing of time and will leave you with a 6ft7in scarf by the end of December.
